Stomach Bug -Norovirus

This stomach flu makes one think immediately of Food Poisoning.  It isn’t.

The downtime is usually 48 hours.  Keep 3 bottles of Gatorade, a box Saltines, paper cups and mouthwash on hand.   Keep your hands out of your mouth, nose, and eyes. Wash hands frequently for at least 20 seconds & use SOAP! WIpe down everything you touch, computer keyboards included.

  It is extremely infectious with 20 million cases a year in the US alone.   Dehydration can be deadly so don’t hesitate to go to an Emergency Room.    

There is no vaccine.
